This great quality and heavy bronze chandelier has the most beautiful shape and golden color. In fact, in real life the color of this unique pendant is just as golden as the chandeliers or other artefacts that you find in churches. The two stunning pairs of handcrafted mythological creatures holding the glass shades in their mouths are an absolute joy to look at. They are sculpted in amazing detail and perfectly cast in bronze and fire-gilt afterwards. The process of creating such an impressive work of lighting art with these very costly materials was incredibly time consuming. This 19th century lamp, therefore, could only be afforded by churches and by the richest in society.
