Antique Tall 2-Tier Patinated Brass Dutch or Flemish 10 Light Chandelier

About the Item

An exceptional tall two-tier Dutch or Flemish chandelier in patinated brass. The chandelier originates in The Netherlands or Belgium and was made in the early 1900s. It has the typical shape that Dutch or Flemish chandeliers are known for. It has a central column of stacked globes and 10 curved arms divided over two layers with a religious woman's figure on top. As common with these chandeliers, the piece ends with a large ball that was filled with chalk to add weight and stabilize the piece once suspended. The chandelier was completely made in brass and it was patinated to obtain its matte natural color. This impressive chandelier has been in our workshop where we’ve replaced the fittings and renewed the wiring. It is wired for both EU and US electricity. The chandelier also comes with an authentic large ceiling cover. The chandelier has a total height of 71 inches with a diameter of 43 inches. This rare large chandelier is in good antique condition and is clean and fully functional.
