Attractive Chandelier with Three Pumpkin-Shaped Shades in Green Glass by Feders

About the Item

Beautiful chandelier assembled with three original Feders pumpkin-shaped shades of blown green glass trapped in wrought iron painted black. Each sphere hangs from a black chain and was set at a different height to create a visually appealing composition. The chandelier is attached to the ceiling by a round black painted canopy. Feders (Felipe Delfhinger) was a lamp designer very active through the 1960s in Cuernavaca, State of Morelos, Mexico. His lamps were very common in Mexican homes and vacation ranches during 1960-1970. The chandelier has been re-assembled, re-wired with new bakelite sockets. It creates very warm lighting over a table, dining table, or a special intimate corner.
