A French Empire style bronze and metal six-light chandelier from the late 19th century, with palmettes and profiled links. Born in France during the third quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite Empire style chandelier features a dark metal bowl accented with bronze palmettes and petite beads, supporting six delicate swan neck arms with mythical animal heads holding the bobèches in their mouths and their resin candle sleeves. Connected to the upper canopy through profiled links, this French, 1870s Empire style chandelier charms us with its exquisite contrast of colors and stunning decor, making it a great choice to enliven any home. It is wired for the US and is ready to be hung.
