A French Empire style walnut gueridon table from the late 19th century, with vitrine top, corinthian columns, ebonized and gilt accents. Born in France during the third quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite French gueridon table features a circular ebonized hinged vitrine top, sitting above a simple apron. The table is raised on three graceful columns with gilt Corinthian capitals and bases, sitting on an in-curving veneered shelf with gilt bun feet, accented with acanthus leaves. With its refined Empire style lines and contrasting colors, this walnut gueridon vitrine table circa 1870, will bring a touch of French elegance to any living room or foyer.
