A French Napoleon III period walnut table from the third quarter of the 19th century, with variegated grey and red marble top, entasis columns and bronze capitals. Born in France at the end of emperor Napoleon III's reign, this exquisite table features a circular variegated grey marble top accented with red motifs, sitting above a simple apron. The table is raised on three columns with entasis and bronze capitals, connected to one another through an in-curving lower shelf. With its elegant lines and refined décor, this French Second Empire walnut table, circa 1870, will bring a stylish presence to any home, particularly placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer.
