An antique French tilt-top table from the Napoleon III period.
The table is made of wood (a softwood type), with lacquer work, paintwork and inlays made of mother of pearl. The chassis is a tripod.
The tabletop tilts. This mechanism works smoothly.
The table is in good condition, only in 1 place on the tabletop is a small piece of the painting missing from a bird's nest. With this type of paintwork, this type of wear is a common phenomenon, appropriate to the age of the furniture.
