Pair of French 19th Century Neoclassical Bronze, Ormolu and Glass Chandeliers
About the Item
A superb and most decorative pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical patinated bronze, ormolu and frosted glass chandeliers. The chandeliers are centered by their original striking bottom inverted illuminated crystal flames below the lovely fluted supports with charming richly chased woven basket designs. The patinated bronze tiers display fine floral ormolu designs from where the original frosted flames branch out on elegant fluted supports. Handsome chains lead up, past the elegant patinated bronze tiers to striking and richly detailed canopies with beautiful acanthus leaf designs.
