FLAMINGO lamp designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira for BD Barcelona is a part of the lighting section. Siza Vieira is a Portuguese architect who works for Barcelona creates a remarkable piece of light. The usage of this lamp makes it unique to others. Its difference in height, the nature of its light, the disinterest and possible delicacy of its variable and detachable structure, the movement of its very feeble wings, all allow for unsuspected uses. It can be a replacement for a candle at supper, light up a photo or bookrest, allows reading in couch without disturbing the possible bedfellow.? The chromed iron bar structure can be disassembled. The aluminum wings can be adjustable which allow people to move the light in the direction they want. The lamp is painted in silver-grey matte to control light. Dimmer also included. Indoor use only.
