Italian Early 19th Century Louis XV/ XVI Style Giltwood Floor Lamp
About the Item
A very attractive Italian early 19th century Louis XV/ XVI style giltwood floor lamp. The lamp is raised by a tripod base with cabriole legs below a mottled scroll. The column has a central crest with an 'X' over a lattice designed background. The vertical fut above has a fanciful turned design with carved acanthus leaves and egg and dart patterns. The top of the lamp has an urn shape with an eternal flame above. All original gilt. The lamp is fitted with our signature Cedric DuPont antique two-tone silk shade.
