Antique Ships Anchor Lantern by French Maker
About the Item
Antique solid brass ships anchor lantern with Fresnel glass lens, hinged top, carry handle, etc. with makers plate from Ouvrard Villars, a highly regarded maker. This is a first-class ship lantern that has been meticulously polished and lacquered. Mounted to a thick mahogany base. This lantern has been fitted with a new socket and cord for home use. Side of lantern at top has a coupling that may have been fed from an external tank or fuel line.
