About the Item

Matched Pair of American Art Deco Diner Glass and Steel Wall Lights A matched pair of original early -20th century glass and metal American art deco wall lights. With there “after daylight Levolite” sticker labels on the reverse still present. With a warm illuminated glow, these wall lights would have once been part of a larger collection of restaurant / diner interior lighting. The glass emits a 70 / 30 % glow as the bulb takes up 30% of the bottom of the glass shade as shown when illuminated. Power source currently is set to a 2-wire output into a bayonet fitted which works directly into a UK 240v plug. We would however suggest this light is fitted by a professional electrician before they are installed. Size in inches approx: H 9” x W 2.25” x D 3” Origin: USA Date: 1930 Material: Chrome/Glass Condition: Good Completely solid in structure and form, these lights are in original condition and untouched with surface scuffs across the metal due to age and use (please zoom into the photos to see these blemishes). They have been rewired for photographic purposes only so will need to be rewired by a professional electrician when installed after purchase. The wiring is currently to a 2-cord flex which goes into a new brass bayonet bulb fitting, currently unearthed and to UK 240v output, a professional will easily be able to install these for you when required as they would need to connect to a main for functional use anyway.
