Matched pair of Edwardian milk glass shop signs. We share what we love, and we love this rare, matched pair of Edwardian milk glass shop signs. One stating “All kinds of repairs” and the other “Old Gold & Silver Bought”. In their original wooden frames. The milk glass is open backed and the outline of the text is made from old cut out paper or card form, firmly fixed to the glass. Untouched in form and rare to get a matched pair in such good overall condition. Ready to hang in a cool interior space. Size of inches: H 16” x W 24” x D 1” Condition: Good Origin: English Age: Early 20th Century Completely solid in structure and form, Natural aging across all surfaces, the wood material is worn in certain areas as shown. An aged antique item so please expect this in the condition as the photos aim to show.
