Pair of 19th Century French Louis XVI Carved Giltwood and Mirrored Wall Sconces
About the Item
Add sophisticated lighting to the walls of your entryway or formal living room with this pair of elegant antique Louis XVI sconces. Sculpted in France, circa 1860, the two-light sconces have a beautiful gold leaf finish, embellished by three-side beveled mirror and an ornate carved shell cartouche at the pediment. Each large wall light has two metal arms, flowers and floral embellishments on the sides, with delicate carvings on the bottom; they are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich gilt finish. A wonderful addition to a formal powder room.
