Pair of 19th Century French Louis XVI Carved Giltwood Two-Light Wall Sconces
About the Item
Decorate a wall with this elegant pair of antique carved gilt sconces. Crafted in France, circa 1870, each sconce is embellished with a hand carved assorted fruit and nut basket at the pediment, and ending with acanthus leaf motifs at the bottom. Each wall fixture has two ornate metal arms newly wired and dressed with decorative sleeve covers. The delicate, tall light fixtures are in excellent condition and adorn a rich patinated gold leaf finish. These wall lights would make a sophisticated, French addition to an entryway, living room or powder room.
