Pair of French 19th Century Restauration Period Ormolu and Bronze Sconces
About the Item
A striking pair of French 19th century Restauration period ormolu and patinated bronze sconces. Each three arm sconce displays an impressive backplate with beautiful pierced palmettes and a handsome richly chased lion at the center holding the circular wrap around support in its mouth. The support displays finely detailed and most decorative lattice design also repeated at the elegant mottled candle cups.
