Pair of Italian Carved and Metal Giltwood and Painted Two-Light Wall Sconces
About the Item
Light up a dining room or powder room with this elegant pair of antique fixtures. Crafted in Italy circa 1980, each sconce features intricate hand-carvings with leaf and scrolled motifs in the Louis XV style; each light has a double metal arm decorated with acanthus leaves and round bobeches. The large sconces are newly wired with switches, and dressed with decorative candle sleeve covers. The tall lights are in excellent condition and adorn a rich two-tone polychrome patinated paint finish in the red and gilt palette; they would make a subdued and colorful addition to any room for the ultimate Italian look.
