About the Item
H 13 cm W 80 cm D 21.5 cm
Material: Black satin-finish sheet steel, nickel-plated brass parts, E 27 socket with rotary switch, 3-core plastic connection cable, black Schuko plug.
Condition: good original condition
Special features: few signs of use. Around 1935, Christian Dell, former master of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Dessau, created the IDELL lighting series for KAISER + CO. The brief was "Luminaires for the office and workshop, for the benefit of work, for the protection of the eyes". Source Kaiser Idell catalog no. 11.
About this object: From the exemplary IDELL luminaire catalog, we offer here a scissor wall luminaire with a medium shade. The luminaire can be extended, swiveled and tilted on the wall bracket after wall mounting. As is usual with IDELL luminaires, the reflector has a spherical head that deflects the light laterally and vertically. The lamp has been rewired.
