Antique French Art Deco Cubist Harlequin or Clown Figural Table or Boudoir Lamp
About the Item
This table lamp is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from France and date to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The lamp is made of some sort of molded composite such as celluloid or catalin, and is hollow and not believed to be resin. The lamp depicts a stylized harlequin in a cubist or stepped manner, and has been hand-painted with a seafoam green paint with black geometric accents. The lamp has its original cord, and we did not have a bulb that fit the push and turn fixture also original to the lamp, so it is being sold untested.
