Minimalistic Mod. 613 Articulating Desk Lamp by Paolo Rizzatto for Arteluce 1975

About the Item

This lamp was designed by Italian architect and designer Paolo Rizzatto in 1975, and was his second project, the table version of the 265 wall lamp. This lamp was conceived to cover the whole area of any desk and to be extremely light (therefore the fiberglass arms) in order to reduce the counterweight. The articulating system allows a number of shapes. The reflector rotates fully on two axis. Variable size, several combinations are possible: maximum height 97 cm / 38,2 in, maximum lenght 120 cm / 47,2 in, base 27 x 17 cm / 10,6 x in Paolo Rizzatto was a pupil of Franco Albini, then his second menthor was Gino Sarfatti. After Sarfatti sold Arteluce to Flos, in 1978 Rizzatto founded Luceplan toghether with Sandra Romanelli Severi and Riccardo Sarfatti.
