Gino Sarfatti Yellow Mod. 33 Midcentury Directable Wall Light for Arteluce 1950s

About the Item

This fully directable wall light was designed by Italian lighting master Gino Sarfatti for his own company Arteluce in the 1950s. This model was mostly manufactured in black or cream white color, this yellow version is rarer. The lamp is left in its original untouched conditions for authenticity, with its original paint still intact and no dents. The brass has a strong patina with oxidation. In the inner diffuser there is still the shade of the original Arteluce label, a very recognizable shape. A strong feature for collectors who prefere piece which are unmistakably vintage and original. Literature: M. Romanelli, S. Severi, "Gino Sarfatti: Opere scelte 1938-1973", Silvana Editoriale, 2012.
