Wimbledon-Furniture Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Circa 1900 Austrian Vienna cold paint bronze Orientalist lamp by the wonder that is Franz Bergman Fully stamped to the base with the Franz Bergman Amphora monogram inside the Geschutzt foundry stamp. These lamps are as rare and collectable as they come, this is a large scale piece, unlike his other desk trinkets which are usually around one quarter the size The original light fitting was around 120 years old and not suitable or safe for modern use, it was removed, I can have a new modern safe light fitting installed free of charge should the new owner wish, the original light fitting hole is at the top back so I can run a cable through it, however I think to keep it neat and tidy it would be better to fit a small battery powered LED light, that way there are no untidy cables on display.
