Louis XV Style Mirror, Gilt and Carved Wood 19th Century
About the Item
An absolutely stunning gilt and carved wood Louis XV style mirror, dating from the second half of the 19th century, and featuring an oversized coquille crest, flanked by swathes of fanciful foliage and flowers. Additional decoration at the shoulders and lower corners adds to the sense of luxury and extravagance. This huge and impressive mirror features an original bevelled glass mirror plate in excellent condition, and is fitted with wood panels at the rear for extra security.
