Mid-18th Century Silvered Wood Carved Mirror in Rococo Style

About the Item

A grand-scale wall or console mirror in Rococo style from mid-18th century South Germany. It features six mirror panels framed in richly decorated silvered wood, carved in the shapes of rocaille scrolls and foliage, with two dragon figures at the bottom. It includes two feet for additional support, allowing placement on the floor or at a matching console. Additionally, four metal screw-type brackets are included at the verso for wall fixing. The surface shows a natural mirror and wood patina due to antique aging.
