Chinese Style Wood Mirror

About the Item

This handmade wood Chinese style mirror is varnished with gold leaves and is designed to have the appearance of bamboo inspired by Chinoiserie. It was designed by Jorge and Fernanda Loyzaga, who have always been interested in the relationship between Asia and Mexico, specially Philippines and Mexico via the Galeón de Manila and they usually take inspiration in their culture for the pieces for Loyzaga. This piece is a modern interpretation of a classical Chinese Mirror. Elements of Chinoiserie have always been part of our interiors and our style. We love to implement timeless pieces into our spaces, it doesn't matter if the space is modern or classic, this mirror is just the perfect pièce de resistance for any room.
