Italian Early 19th Century Louis XVI St. Off White And Gilt Square Mirror
About the Item
A fine and very elegant Italian early 19th century Louis XVI st. off white and gilt square mirror. The original circular mirror plate is framed within a square patinated off white and gilt frame. The central bottom of the frame has a gilt crest reserve flanked by elaborate and richly carved berried laurel branches, signs of peace. The top has a central pierced crown of a tied bow amidst blossoming flowers all above swaging floral garlands held by the top tied bow and bold corner rosettes. All original gilt.
