King Size Hollywood Regency Yellow Dressed Bed
About the Item
Remarkably clean and well preserved Hollywood Regency king sized yellow dressed bed custom made by Allen Furniture of Roslindale, MA circa 1962. Ensemble includes yellow silk tufted king sized headboard which is 52 inches high and 87 inches at its widest and 80 inches wide where the bed mounts. Also includes a pair of custom made twin mattresses and box spring platforms in complementary blue ticking with bowed knots. Each are 40 inches wide and 77 inches long. Platforms are mounted with wheels. The beds wear spectacular vermicelli textured golden yellow silk spreads hand painted or printed with full floral bouquets held by flowing pink bows and matching bolster cushions. The platforms wear light blue ruched skirts.
