Rare Presentation Box of Eero Saarinen's GM Tower
About the Item
Heavy mirror-finish chrome lid is scale model of Saarinen's GM Tech tower, over carved walnut case. The composition of the box wonderfully demonstrates the connection between the younger Saarinen's reduced modernism with the decorative nouveau of father Eliel. Produced in limited quantities as presentation pieces for company guests.
