An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Chinese Export Silver goblet; an addition to our wine and drinks related silverware collection This exceptional antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) goblet has a circular bell shaped form, to a shaped stem and plain circular stepped foot. The drinking vessel of this antique silver goblet is embellished with chased iconic Chinese dragon designs accented with stylised flame and cloud decoration, all on a matte background. The decoration to the body incorporates a vacant shield shaped cartouche. The upper rim of this antique Chinese goblet is encompassed with an applied moulded border. The impressive shaped pedestal is realistically modelled in the form of three rooted and swept bamboo stalks, accented with applied leaves in junction with the drinking vessel. A fine and impressive antique Chinese Export Silver swing handled basket; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This fine antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) basket has an oval shaped form onto an oval swept foot. The body of this silver basket is embellished with fine and impressive pierced and embossed decoration depicting two iconic Chinese dragons amidst clouds. The decoration to the body incorporates a circular vacant cartouche to either end. The shaped border has embossed scroll and floral ornamentation to the rim. This Chinese silver basket retains the original wirework style swing handle. The concaved central well of this basket is plain and unembellished. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Chinese export silver bottle coaster, an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) bottle coaster has a cylindrical form to a plain spreading base. The body of this Chinese silver coaster is embellished with fine and impressive embossed and pierced decoration depicting two iconic oriental dragons amidst clouds. The decoration to the body incorporates a sun motif to either side, each accented with a central cartouche, one remains vacant and the other bears the contemporary engraved monogram initials 'CHD.' The upper and lower rims of this coaster are encompassed with plain applied moulded borders accented with bands of tooled decoration. This exceptional coaster has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as sterling silver (925, 925/1000). Condition This antique Chinese silver coaster is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The Chinese hallmarks struck to the underside of this coaster are all very clear. Dimensions Diameter of rim 7.9cm/3.1". Diameter of base 8.4cm/3.3". Height 6.5cm/2.6". Weight 5.1 troy ounces/160g. Cricket belt buckle, The Eleven. Brass-coloured cast metal belt buckle with raised images mounted on a flat plated metal back plate. The piece is attached to the back plate via metal pins at each of its corners that pierce the buckle and are flattened out on the reverse. On the reverse of the back plate there is also a loop and hook for a belt. The raised scene features eleven figures in varied cricketing poses wearing plain, stripped and patterned shirts, a time before 'cricketing whites' were introduced.
