- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: The book is housed in a blue archival custom-made slipcase decorate with a black and white photo of Yeager in front of the Bell X-1. Wear consistent with age and use. The internal pages are clean without damage. The dust jacket still has vibrant colors and in good condition, with only light bumping along the bottom spine. The dust jacket is now protected by a clear Mylar cover.
