We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite Antique Chinese Mah-jong set, dating back to circa 1920s, is now available for purchase. It is a complete set, including the original counters, and comes in a case with a rare and stunning Art Nouveau Liberty's London style bronze handle.
The suite is in excellent condition considering its age. There may be some minor patina marks due to natural aging and use, but overall, the set is in great shape. The mahjong pieces themselves are free from any damage and have aged beautifully over time.
What makes this set even more special is the unique Art Nouveau bronze handle on the case. It is a feature rarely seen on cases of this type. So it's highly likely that this handle was one of their own designs.
