Rare Fraad Jr. Child's Size Talking Machine, circa 1916

About the Item

A New York firm established in 1915. An advertisement of 1916 offered ten models of disc players under the names Symphony, Fraad Jr. and Symphony Jr. (the firm went bankrupt in August 1918). Comes with one Victor record, disc needle. In good working condition. Mahogany with carved top, reeded details, and openwork front panel. The cabinet with double doors opening to three shelves, shaped apron and raised on square legs. Condition: veneer losses to cabinet. Good working condition.
