Desktop Humidor in Curly Walnut with Details in Ebony Featuring a Leather Base

About the Item

Desktop humidor featuring lift out tray. Interior liners and dovetailed tray in Honduran mahogany. I use Honduran mahogany in the construction of my humidors because it does not impart a flavour and because it is an exceptionally high quality material with the ability to retain and release moisture as well as Spanish cedar (which is also a mahogany species). This humidor was joined at the corners utilizing a specialized joint known as the secret miter dovetail. The joint appears as a miter from the outside but hides a series of interlocking dovetails which will keep the box nice and tight for many years to come. The humidor base features a full grain leather upholstered panel set into a frame of Gaboon ebony.
