- Antique Royal Doulton Bowl, the Gallant Fisher in CeramicLocated in Oxfordshire, GBVintage Royal Doulton fishing Ceramic. A Royal Doulton Series Ware 'The Gallant Fishers' fishing bowl. The bowl is with a polychrome fishing scene of a fisherman lying on the river bank reading a book. The inscription around the edge reads 'And When The Timrous Trout I Wait To Take And He Devours My Bait'. here is a slight foul to the side of the bowl, but may have been done when made as it is glazed over.
