1960s Signed Curtis Jeré Gilded a to Z Bookends

About the Item

Stately and heavy A-Z cast iron bookend with gilded gold finish by artist Curtis Jeré, c.1960s. These incredible bookends are made of cast iron coated with gold leaf, and weigh in at an astounding 15lbs. Classic serif design is timeless and beautiful, and both pieces bear the Jeré signature--one of the most iconic artists of the midcentury modern period. Marring and patina is intentional, and done absolutely perfectly on these. In excellent, perfectly-patinated condition!
