1970s Whimsical Sculptural Room Divider Screen in the Style of John Risley
About the Item
Whimsical sculptural room divider screen in the style of metal artist John Risley, c.1970s. Three enameled steel rod panels depict a man and two women, an enigmatic power throuple with long noses and pillowy lips. Risley's figurative welded designs have attracted a cult following, with many artists emulating his craft. We're not sure if this uncommon piece is a Risley or a mime, but it's incredible nonetheless. Panels fold and separate, offering many placement options for this piece of art. In excellent vintage condition with minor spots of rust and chipping to enamel.
