Four Panel Chinese Coromandel Folding Lacquered Screen
About the Item
This screen has four panels with brass feet. The front features a tranquil nature scene with a variety of birds bordered by a pattern flowering vine with four different antique vases with flowers at the bottom, while the back shows two white cranes by a flowing river and bamboo with a thin linear border. We believe the screen dates to the mid 20th century.
