Antique English Iron Milner's Patent Fire Resisting Safe Painted Green
About the Item
Antique late 1800s English iron Milner's Patent Fire Resisting Safe painted a gorgeous dark green with painted aqua interior. Gorgeous embossed brass circular plate and key plate with the English lion and unicorn crest. Milner's advertising sheet pasted to the inside of the lid. Best of all... this antique safe HAS THE ORIGINAL WORKING KEY! Safe is very heavy but comes with a custom made set of wheels. Top of the safe has a water ring and crazing from age and use. One of the hinges is broken, see last photo, but the lid still works fine.
Measurement of safe without wheels is 19.5"H x 26.25"W x 20"D
Condition commensurate with age and use. Top is pitted and there is a ring on the surface, see photos. Surface scratches from use. The original key works!
