About the Item
This highly ornate Victorian magazine stand has two sections for reading material and every element of an elegant Victorian parlor at the height of the era. It has stick and ball crisscross beading on sides as well as beaded tops and twisted woven finials. The bottom is an openwork weave. The handles and base are adorned with curlicues. (As seen in Collectors Guide to American Furniture pg 68).

- Condition:Refinished. Minor losses. In one tiny area the weave is loose. It can probably be corrected by clipping the loose piece and touching up the paint. Based on age it has been repainted. One spoke is slightly bent. Considering its age, it is in fine condition.
