About the Item
21st century print run of Fortuny Persiano fabric in white on white. The dense decoration, geometric layout, and elegant and harmonious Persian art style inspired many of Mariano Fortuny’s designs. Persiano is an 18th-century design that combines a sweet, abstract floral motif in a repetitive grid pattern that creates a dramatic backdrop at any scale.
Fortuny’s methods are passed down among generations of artists who continue creating new work with the techniques and machines from their founding.
