This piece was created in the late 19th century and fits in perfectly with the chinoiserie style that was popular throughout Europe and America at the time. Ikat hanging is in rather good condition with the surface egg white glaze and a Russian printed cotton lining.

The lining of the piece might not be original but the quality of the ikat is great.
