Charming 19th Century Elm Broad Arm Windsor Chair

About the Item

A beautiful elm broad arm Windsor chair, superb quality 19th Century, high back with central fretted decorative splat and turned spindles, with elm seat with a three piece arm bow sitting on nicely turned legs connected by a H-stretcher. Lovely colour and patina. The dimensions are: Height: 116cm (45.7in) Width: 66cm (26.0in) Depth: 65cm (25.6in) Very comfortable seating and a rather pleasing example of a country armchair. This Windsor armchair is in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The seat and back remain in good, clean condition. The antique country armchair remains structurally sound.
