Elegant Pair of Reclining Green Armchairs in Fruitwood and Brass, Italy 1950s

About the Item

Italy, 1950s. A graceful pair of adjustable reclining armchairs in mahogany-stained fruitwood with brass detailing, upholstered in a light chartreuse. The sculpted arms, resting elegantly on brass fittings, lift to recline the ergonomic back in four different positions, so the chairs become quasi-chaises lounges. The beautifully modeled compass legs culminate in a stylized lightning-bolt form. Measures: 36" H x 24" W x 31" D.
