Joseph-André Motte Armchair 740 for Steiner, 1950s

About the Item

A pair of two armchairs designed by Joseph-André Motte for Steiner. Model 740. He was awarded the René Gabriel prize at the Salon des Arts Ménagers for the Armchair 740 in 1957. The pair is very rare model that the beech wood is used for the legs. The upholstery is in original condition.
