Vintage 1950s Joseph-André Motte 771 "Tongue" Chair for Steiner
About the Item
The model 771 chair is more commonly known as the "Tongue" chair after the shape of the chair's seat. This vintage 1950s Joseph-André Motte chair was found with tired fabric and we had it reupholstered in Maharam's Mohair Supreme. The slate colored mohair reads blue/gray in daylight and a gray/charcoal in low light making it versatile throughout the home. The luxe mohair adds a sophisticated touch.
The chair retains the original Steiner label.
