About the Item
Pair of nuava model armchairs designed by Emilio Guarnacci and Felix Padovano for 1p chemical industry for 'furniture in 1971.
Nondeformable polyurethane foam structure, wool and cotton fabric.
The armchair are have been restored, excellent condition.
The following date back to 1969 nuava armchairs, made of differentiated-density polyurethane foam - a project on which Padovano and Guarnacci are working
This is a project strongly desired by 1P, which highlight both the procedural/syntactic talent and the broad spectrum of effectiveness achieved by the design and intellectual skills of Emilio Guarnacci, who is perfectly at ease in precisely defining both the product aimed at private middle-class environments and the items dedicated to the increasingly emerging contract sector. But this twofold proof of authorship also certifies Guarnacci's commendable empathy for a furniture company radically different from its contemporaries operating domestically.
The 1P has become over the years among the most prominent companies in the field of Italian design d 'era, disappeared prematurely in the 70s the' Tuscan company was able to offer the public a wide selection of innovative seating and futuristic forms, among the most popular projects in addition to the Pagrù we find the armchairs Gena, Duna Rezia and the very rare Maja model.
