Pair Antique Armchairs Louis XVI Fauteuils in Walnut Dining Entrance Side chairs. Two chairs out of a (Set of Six total) important 18th century Louis XVI of the Period French Chairs. Carved beautifully in Walnut and a fantastic patina. Upholstered in light cream and blue fabric. Each chair is raised by fine and uniquely shaped circular fluted legs below carved block rosettes.
At the frieze is a most decorative carved pattern simple lines which extends around the sides and the back. They could be used as side chairs in different parts of the house. Bedroom chairs, as vanity chairs, hallway chairs, in a dining room, corner chairs, side chair. Typical campagne Normandie Chateau furniture.
