Pair of Armchairs ISA Bergamo in light blue velvet and original feet
About the Item
Rare set of two armchairs from ISA Bergamo. The original feet had left no more plating and were sent to restore and plate over again.
Armchairs were re-upholstered with Rubelli Martora writing velvet.
Gio Ponti attribution.
One brief explanation on the above. The classic ISA Gio Ponti design has non wingback design. I've seen this happening also on Radice chairs and other seats from the 50ies. The manufacture will consider the design as a collection and apply it to different solutions. So you can see drop cushion or not drop cushion, wingback variation, double settee and so forward.

- Condition:Refinished. Reupholstered. Minor fading. Feet restaured shows some roughness below the plating as common on this kind of restauration. It's a reupholstered of a 50s armchair. Belts were replaced and padding.
