About the Item

A Victorian Chippendale Revival armchair in mahogany from the late 19th century. The handmade decoration in the back has a mosaic of inlaid bone and satinwood. The seating is covered with a cream fabric with a pattern. Object: Armchair Design: Unknown Style: Victorian Period: 1880 - 1900 Country of origin: England Condition: Good. Wear is consistent with age and use. Great patina which is consistent with age and use. The fabric in very good condition is from a later date.
