Black Forest carved walnut & polychromed 'Three Bears' bench
Inspired by "The Story of the Three Bears" by Robert Southey.
An exceptional example, realistically carved and modeled, with sparse polychrome decoration.
Consisting of three parts, Poppa Bear, Standing 38-Inches high, Momma Bear standing 36-Inches high, holding the 48.5-Inch x 13.5-Inch faux bois carved bench , with pierced back with a portrait of Baby Bear in landscape.
When assembled the size difference of Poppa and Momma Bear is not noticeable, the bench is sturdy and secure.
